Along with affordability you also get customization with asphalt as well. We can change the width of you driveway to allow for more room when moving vehicles or using a narrower pad that will save on cost. While 8 feet wide is the narrowest we can go, and would recommend for a one car driveway, we can pave 20 plus feet wide for a two car or more driveway. Regardless of the option that you want to go with one thing that will never be comprised is the foundation which the driveway will be on top of. Just like your house it all starts with a solid foundation. If you have received lower quotes in the past make sure to check and see what process they use to prep your area before starting to pave. We go in and grade the area to ensure a smooth finish from the start and then come on top of this with a layer of gravel. Each time a new layer goes on it will be compacted using our drum rolling machines. Only after the base foundation has been graded and compacted will be come in and begin the driveway paving process. This is when your minimum of 3 inch thick asphalt will be laid onto the prepped surface. In some cases if the ground is not up too ideal conditions a 4 inch thick layer will be required. This is something that we will address and work with your during your free estimate process. If you already have an asphalt paved driveway we can come in and resurface your current driveway with a 1 inch thick top layer. This again is the lowest we will go as once the paving material is thinner than 1 inch it loses structure stability.
